December 15, 2025 - 10:15 am - All Waukesha County snowmobile trails will be closing Tuesday, December 16 at 12:00pm.
DO NOT RIDE ON CLOSED TRAILS
The Muskego Icetronaunts trails are open.
Snowmobile trails in Southwest Waukesha County including the southern unit of the Kettle Moraine Forest, Eagle Kettle Moraine Riders, and Mukwonago Sno-Snoops**.
** In Mukwonago Trail 8 East of the 8A intersection to Minors Park and Mukwonago High School will remain closed until the harvest is completed.
The trails in northern Waukesha County are now open. Trail preparation work is still progress on the new spur connecting Pewaukee Lake off of Taylor's Bay to the trail system and remains closed at this time.
Trail Pass - You must have your trail pass purchased to ride the trails. If you have not yet received your trail pass, carry your receipt with you. Ride with care and respect everyone who may be on the trails.
Ride safe! Call the Snowmobile Hotline for the most current trail conditions. Please note not all the trails surrounding Waukesha will be open. Check all trail conditions/status before heading out.
